Victor Kiprotich, a Garissa University student who went missing last week on Monday has not yet made a public appearance even after allegedly availing himself at a Garissa police station on Friday.

His absence has raised concerns among his colleagues who are now questioning the police report on his whereabouts.

According to Bilzack Kibe, a student and an accomplice of the missing student, they have not heard anything from the police ever since they claimed that he had been taken to a local hospital for medication after availing himself.

"We are yet to see him. He has not reported back to college and we now doubt police reports on his whereabouts. They said he was taken to hospital for medication but we don't know  which hospital," said Bilzack on Sunday.

Kiprotich went missing on Monday from the institution, a fact that triggered violent protests from students who alleged that he had been abducted by police.
