Orange Democratic Movement party treasurer Timothy Bosire has accused DP William Ruto of funding campaigns against him in his Nyamira backyard.
Last week, a group of youths associate with North Mugirango MP Joash Nyamoko disrupted a press conference organised by ODM leadership thus escalating Bosire's wrangles with the DP.
And in an interview, Bosire, who served as Kitutu Masaba MP in the last parliament, insisted that he will continue questioning projects initiated by the DP in the larger Gusii region.
"I don't fear him. He can continue funding campaigns against me as he has done before but the truth remains he's misleading Gusii leaders through launching of ghost projects.
"We shall traverse the entire region and warn against his presidency. He has come to this region several times but none of the projects he launched has kicked off. He's is a disgrace to us."
Mr Bosire, a former critic of President Uhuru Kenyatta, has however reconciled with the Head of State, terming him as a 'serious patriot and nationalist'.
Nyamoko, a close ally of the DP, has been running Jubilee campaigns in Nyamira. He accused Bosire of undermining the DP through his persistent attacks.
"Let him look for his own candidate and leave us alone. He should concentrate on reviving his career instead of turning the DP into a punching bag."
