The Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission detectives arrested Nairobi County acting Secretary Pauline Kahiga on Thursday.

The arrest is reported to have caused drama at City Hall as EACC officers were barred from reaching her office. 

According to the Daily Nation report, Ms Kahiga was nabbed for alleged hiding of documents meant for corruption investigations at City Hall. Reporters who arrived the scene were also forced out by security personnel. 

Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission spokesperson Yasin Amaro confirmed successful arrest of Ms Kahiga. She is currently held at EACC officers for interrogation.
