President Uhuru Kenyatta has called on all leaders to shun away from attacking the state agencies mandated to fighting corruption in country stating that the agencies have the capacity to bring all perpetrators to book leaving no stone unturned this time rlhnd.
Speaking during the sixth devolution conference held at Kirinyaga county, the head of state urged leaders to desist from creating barriers and being obstacles as the state agencies dispense and discharge their duties.
"I expect all of us to desist from creating barriers,hurdles and obstacles in the work of all state agencies involved in the fight against and in turn cooperate with them as they discharge their respective mandate."said Kenyatta
The head of state added that he believe Many Kenyans have trust and total hope in the investigate agencies and that the government will not relent in giving all support they will require to end the scourge of corruption.
"Many Kenyans believe that those mandated to do investigations have all capabilities to perform undersigned mandate."added the head of state
He further castigated politicians who have fond of attending funerals and other functions while accusing him of corruption and theft,and using the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI) to target individuals.This follows accusations by the Kapseret Mp Oscar Sudi over the weekend that he is the biggest 'thief' in the country.
