Former Kisauni MP Rashid Bedzimba this week toured London for the first time after losing his seat during the August 2017 general election.
Bedzimba, an ODM politician and staunch ally of Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho, visited the Royal Artillery Barracks (Battalion Headquarters) during the London visit and met the Deputy Lord Lieutenant Dr Abbasi and the Commanding Officer.
He has been working with the Hassan Joho foundation ever since he lost to Ali Menza Mbogo of Kalonzo Musyoka's Wiper Democratic Movement.
"Later I prayed salatul Jumaah at Greenwich Islamic Centre London as the khutba and the jumaah prayer was led by Mufti Menk," Bedzimba disclosed after the tour.
Afterwards the trustees hosted the former lawmaker for lunch giving him the opportunity to meet families and Muslim congregation residents within the area.
