A man from Bombure village in Bonchari, Kisii County is distraught after his wife abandoned him.
Joash Nyamoko told Hivisasa on Sunday during an interview that his wife, Josephine Kerubo left home on Friday to an unknown place.
He was left with their four kids including a three-week-old infant
"I am a bodaboda rider and now I have been forced to abandon my work to take care of the kids. I never quarrelled with my wife for her to abandon me," he said.
Nyamoko appealed to villagers to help him plead with his wife to come back. He has he is wind that she returned to her parent's house in Nyamira market.
"Locals should intervene so that I have my wife back. Our three-week-old baby has been crying nonstop since Friday because she was breastfeeding," he stated.
A local chief, Edward Mamwacha condemned Kerubo saying she will be apprehended should she fail to return to her husband on Tuesday.
"If she will not return to breastfeed the baby, I will have no option rather than arrest her so that she can be arraigned in court over child negligence," said the chief.
