1. Raila Odinga
The former Prime Minister is a living legend, a celebrated democracy fighter and a political guru.
Despite his four presidential elections losses in the past, nothing has stopped him from bouncing back, the latest one being on March 9 where he reached a truce with President Uhuru Kenyatta.
This has enabled him to overcome his 2017 loss and is once again a threat to 2022 presidential hopefuls, especially Deputy President William Ruto.
On January 30 2018, he was sworn in as People's President but miraculously evaded punishment following warnings from the government that the same amounted to treason.
2. James Orengo
Some of his supporters call him 'the walking constitution' because of his legal prowess, being a renowned senior counsel, others call the Siaya Senator 'Ajimmy'.
He proved that he is not just any other man when he led the legal team that successfully petitioned Uhuru's August 8, 2017, reelection.
This was the first presidential election nullification in Africa and the third in the world.
He came out as a superman who cannot be stopped or pushed off his track.
He also defended his seat in the election without having to campaign much.
3. Okoth Obado
Despite his terrible 2018 which saw him accused of among others, participating in the murder of Rongo University student Sharon Otieno, the Migori Governor is still standing strong.
This followed his miraculous reelection, after beating Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) party's Ochilo Ayacko in the party nominations and went ahead to win in the main poll.
Let it not be forgotten that he won the ODM ticket after again beating an ODM candidate in the 2013 elections, then as a Federal Party of Kenya (FPK) candidate.
