Africa Union High Representative for Infrastructure Development Raila Amolo Odinga on Thursday shared rare photos of him in Germany.
The Former Prime Minister looked young and innocent.
The Luo political kingpin said that the photo was taken during his stay in Magdeburg, Germany.
The photo has continued to elicit mixed reactions online, with some Kenyans making fun of the opposition leader, who has vowed to work with President Uhuru Kenyatta before he completes his second and final term in office.
Raila shared the photo after exiled lawyer Miguna Miguna said that he doubts his academic qualifications
According to Miguna, who was deported for taking part in the controversial swearing in of the opposition leader, there is no way Raila can have genuine academic certificates when he studied at a time the institution was not accredited.
"That was not an ACCREDITED university or technical institute in East Germany in the 1960s when Raila purportedly graduated from there. In addition, that school did not have an engineering faculty in the 1960s. Raila must come up with better lies," Miguna wrote on Twitter.
Records show that Raila received a scholarship in 1965 to Technical School, Magdeburg in Germany. He graduated with an Msc (Masters of Science) from the university in 1970.
