Garissa Town MP Aden Duale has hit out at Central Organisation of Trade Union (Cotu) Secretary General Francis Atwoli telling him to respect his age.Duale says that he has no business insulting Atwoli because he is the age of his father. In a Facebook Post on Saturday, Duale said, "Atwoli is the age of my father. I will not insult him because that is not how I was brought up."The National Assembly Majority Leader in his post addded, "But he (Atwoli) should reapect his age. The verbal diarrhoea he spews leaves even a three-years-old to wonder. Be your age. Stop embarrassing yourself or you will be confirming that you have nothing between your ears."Duale was reacting to Atwoli's claims that he is engeenering a Bill that will prohibit state workers from going on strike.Atwoli who was speaking during a fundraiser for Lamu Women Sacco at Mkunguni grounds on Saturday cautioned Duale against pushing for Bills that will infringe on workers rights.During the fundraiser, Atwoli who was in the company of Mombasa Governor Hassan Joho also lashed out at Deputy President William Ruto.He claied that Ruto's name will not be on the presidential ballot in 2022.
