The former Rarieda parliamentarian has been under extreme bashing lately, over allegations of undermining the DP, thanks to a recent leaked phone conversation clip.

However, Nduko has warned against such, saying that the SG could be plotting something bigger judging by his moves and should be approached with care and not attacked.

He says that Tuju would easily win the Jubilee Party ticket in the 2022 presidential nominations, and would easily beat the DP at it if that's his intention.

"I don't think anything blocks Tuju is he wanted to be president. Noting stops him if there are nominations in Jubilee," he said on KBC English Service's The Big Conversation show, Wednesday morning.

He added that Ruto and team should be negotiating with Tuju for a possible consensus, nothing that he has for long been a political kingpin, which makes him a man to watch.

"I don't know whether these people consulted him and he said he doesn't want to be president. They should actually be talking to him," added Tue commentator.

Tuju is, however, yet to declare interest in the race, where Ruto is expected to battle it out with among others, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua.

Despite hailing from the Nyanza region which has for long rallied behind the opposition, the Cabinet Secretary without portfolio has been part of the last three regimes.
