Former Kathiani MP Wavinya Ndeti couldn't hide her joy on Twitter after one of the users exuded confidence in her leadership.
The user, Cleophas Muthama, said he believes Ndeti is among the best women leaders in the country.
Muthama tweeted that he believes the Wiper party's candidate for the Machakos governorship has what it takes to lead the community.
“Wavinya Ndeti is one of the best women leaders our nation has produced. I wish she had a chance to be my governor but God's time is the best. End of last year, she gave Christmas gifts to all children homes in Machakos,” he posted on Tuesday.
Ndeti was happy with the Tweet to the point that she responded to him in appreciation.
“Thank you. It shall be well someday. I'll always serve my people whether in power or not,” Wavinya Ndeti responded.
Ndeti has been very vocal on matters of national interest.
She has been faulting the incumbent Machakos county boss Alfred Mutua for what she believes is poor performance.
Ndeti attempted to oust the Maendeleo Chap Chap party leader but her efforts did not bear fruits after the Supreme Court ruled in his favor.
She is now poised to succeed Mutua after he completes his second term in office.
