History was written during the second edition of the Nyanza regions Chapa Dimba na Safaricom regional finals in Kisumu on Saturday as one player scored seven goals for her team.
Homabay County’s NCEOD Queens’ Yvonne Ogada was literally on fire as she scored all her teams’ seven goals against Migori County's’ Migori Education Centre, in one of the girls’ semi-finals at the Moi Stadium in Kisumu.
Ogada’s goals saw her team book a final spot, with a comfortable 7-0 win.
NCEOD Queens’ will now face hosts Manyata Ladies in the girls’ final on Sunday.
Manyatta Ladies booked a spot in the final after thrashing Kisii County’s Kisii Ladies 6-0 in the other semi-final.
Kisumu’s Manyatta United and Nyamira County’s Nyamira Springs will face each other in the final on Sunday, after beating Nyamaharaga FC and Victory Strikers in boys’ semi-finals respectively.
