However, the row has seemingly taken a new path after Somalia nation, on Saturday, ruled out any negotiations whatsoever with Kenya.

The biggest question that now lingers in the minds of Kenyans is that, is the Federal Republic of Somalia turning a bully?

Considering the cordial relationship and military cooperation that the war-torn nation has been receiveing from Kenya, it is a fact that Somalia should have been the last to reject negotiations.

Before getting into a diplomatic row with her closest neighbour, Somalia should have first evaluated the possible effects of the row, especially on matters national security.

At the moment ,Kenya has at least 4,000 of her military men and women serving in Somalia under AMISOM peace keeping mission, of which if all were to recalled back, the country would definitely get into chaos never witnessed before.

With this in mind, President Mohammed Farmaajo should accurately weigh his options before releasing statements that could prove detrimental to regional peace and stability.

He should soften stand and give room for negotiations.
