Canada-based lawyer Miguna Miguna has laughed at a plan by Orange Democratic Movement (ODM) to investigate and punish residents of Muhoroni, Kisumu County, who heckled party leader Raila Odinga on Monday.
Raila was embarrassed in front of his guests; Cabinet Secretaries James Macharia (Transport), Peter Munya (Trade) and Petroleum's John Munyes, when he proposed construction of a Special Economic Zone at Ombei village against wishes of residents.
Carrying placards, the residents jeered at the ODM leader and claimed their land was being grabbed by government to initiate a project which they were never consulted.
Following the incident, ODM has threatened to take a tough disciplinary action against the people behind the heckling, particularly, if found to be party elected leaders.
Miguna has poked holes into the plan and advised Raila to stop wasting his time and money he allegedly received from fake gold scandal, and from President Uhuru Kenyatta following the March 9 handshake.
In a tweet on Saturday, the controversial lawyer warned the former Prime Minister that Kenyans were not happy with him and were 'dying' to harm him.
"How does anyone carry out investigations against an entire community? Mr. Hand-Cheque RailaOdinga: stop wasting your time and the proceeds of fake gold and handchieth. Millions of Kenyans are dying to start pelting you with stones for betraying them," Miguna posted.
