Speaking on Sunday during a fundraiser for the completion of Holy Cross Catholic Church construction in Nakuru West, the politician stated that churches are struggling with various projects in all the sub-counties yet NG-CDF kitty can cater for the same.

Ogada who is eyeing the Nakuru Town West Parliamentary seat come 2022 says if elected, he will push a motion on the floor of the house to ensure NG-CDF caters for the welfare of churches and other religious groupings.

He says this will help reduce the time that churches take in mobilizing for fundraisers whenever they have projects to be completed.

“The reason why churches are struggling is that we have never thought of NG-CDF kitty contribution towards the church projects. In 2022 God willing if I capture the seat, I will come up with a motion to ensure that 10% of NG-CDF kitty caters for church projects,” said Ogada who in August 2017 contested for the Nakuru Town West parliamentary seat on an ODM ticket.

He lost in what he termed as due to unfair primaries and claims political parties have no democracy.

The move saw him ditch ODM and he is now in a new political formation, United Green Movement Party.
