Kitutu Chache member of parliament Richard Onyonka has questioned the stability of the handshake between President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga.
In March last year, ODM leader Raila Odinga in a surprise turn out of events embraced his political nemesis, Uhuru Kenyatta, terming it for the best interest of the country which brought political peace and 'stability'.
Their brotherly embrace is now on a question as to whether either of the sides will sustain to hold on their building bridges initiative up to 2022.
The handshake saw president Kenyatta lobby for Odinga and was appointed the AU High representative for infrastructure and development a move that was realized after the two ended their rivalry.
Speaking during a morning show in one of the local TVs, the Kitutu Chache legislator said the handshake life should be considered stating that, nobody has thought of the situation if it breaks up and disagreement witnessed.
His sentiments come at a time the country is at top gear for the census with the referendum talk taking center stage at all spheres with opposition politicians at the forefront to agitate for the constitutional changes.
"On the handshake; what if they disagree? Have we discussed the issues that turn this country into a powder keg every five years?" questioned Richard Onyonka
The Ford Kenya party member has been a staunch supporter of the big four agenda.
