The former Nairobi Woman Representative visited Mr Odinga at the Capitol Hill offices in March this year but the agenda was not immediately made public. Two months later, a video of her endorsing Raila for 2022 presidential race surfaced online.

"I want to take you without fear or favour Your Excellency. Our people from Mt Kenya, a Jubilee stronghold, are with you," Shebesh is heard telling Raila.

"Some people are our misleading people that Mt Kenya people don't want handshake. Those are people who make money by speaking. Let them continue with their business. Just come to Kiambu, Nyeri or Murang'a grassroots. People call you Njamba, because you've given us peace."

On Tuesday, Shebesh visited Mr Odinga in the company of Wajir Woman Representative Fatuma Gedi. However, Odinga did not immediately release the agenda of their meeting.

"Glad to welcome David Mokenye Onyuoki, a Political Science student at Duke University who will be undertaking his internship in my office following a request he made last October during my lecture tour to the institution and also received CAS Rachel Shebesh and Fatuma Gedi MP Wajir County," he wrote.

Ever since reconciling with President Uhuru Kenyatta, Mr Odinga has been meeting most former leaders from Mt Kenya at his offices. He's said to be crafting a possible coalition ahead of 2022 polls.

Shebesh was first brought into public limelight by Mr Odinga in 2007 when ODM nominated her to parliament. She won Woman Representative seat on Jubilee in 2013.
