Kalonzo wondered why he was sharing his ID number with one Wanjiru Njoroge, born in 1993.

Kalonzo said it was evident that there are millions of Kenyans sharing their ID numbers.

He added that something fishy was happening without the common "mwananchi's" knowledge.

“It is now clear what is happening across the country. This explains why the Registrar of Persons has been retained in office several years after attaining retirement age. We in CORD shall not allow such machinations to happen,” Kalonzo said.

The discovery was made at the Wagberi Primary School in Wajir East Constituency.

This came after Kalonzo and Ford Kenya leader Moses Wetangula led a team from the opposition to the place.

The opposition leaders believed that there was a scheme to rig the outcomes of 2017 presidential elections.

They claimed that the Jubilee regime was attempting to use underhand tactics to retain power during the August 8, exercise.

The rivalry between President Uhuru Kenyatta and former Prime Minister Raila Odinga heightened after the nullification of Presidential results by the Supreme Court.
