Gospel artist Willy Paul will be performing at Kenyatta University tomorrow (Friday).
According to a post on his Instagram account, the event will be held at the university's Bishop Square grounds from 6pm.
“Kenyatta Uni. See you,” he captioned a poster advertising the show.
The much-anticipated show comes at a time when students are busy with their exams. However, this will not stop them from attending the show as it will be on a Friday when most students take a break from the week’s busy schedule.
The event, organised by Kenyatta University Students Association (KUSA) Organising Secretary, will be free for all students.
Willy Paul has often courted controversy. He recently released a song dubbed 'Sikireti' featuring Jamaican artist Cecile, eliciting mixed reactions among Kenyans.
A section of Kenyans feels Willy Paul has shifted from gospel to secular songs. Pozze, as he is popularly known, has however on various occasions come out to respond to his critics, stating that he sings to God in different styles.
The artist was once again put on the spot on Wednesday after rumours emerged that he had been hospitalised after overdosing on sex-enhancing drugs.
He, however, rubbished the claims, saying: “Pozze is here to stay, na wewe mwenye u spreadin fake news, we are coming for you!”
