The deceased will be buried on Friday at his home in Mang'u, Rongai in Nakuru County. Ruto will join other leaders in giving the deceased businessman a befitting send-off.

A post-mortem conducted on his body revealed that he died of cardiac arrest. The exercise was undertaken at the Lee Funeral Home on Saturday in the presence of the police as well as his close family members.

A family spokesperson had said that the family had found comfort after knowing the cause of his death following days of speculations.

“It is now an almost settled matter given the results,” said a senior officer.

Kabage was involved in an accident on his way home in Nairobi.

The Inspector-General of Police Hillary Mutyambai ordered the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) to probe the matter after questions arose over the death.

President Uhuru Kenyatta and ODM leader Raila Odinga are among the leaders who sent their messages of condolence to the family of the deceased following the sad news.
