According to her, political seats should be reduced to bring down the wage bill.

“Unnecessary seats such as nominated and women representatives’ seats should be scrapped for the purpose of bringing down the huge wage bill. The referendum is now unstoppable because DP Ruto who was seen as the leading oppose joined the camp to support it,” she stated.

Mrs. Otundo who doubles as the Gusii governance watch secretary, a group which comprises of local activists suggested that the referendum should be held before the 2022 general elections.

She pleaded with the Gusii community to be ready to take part in the referendum saying it will reduce the burden of paying politicians huge salaries thus boost the economy.
