Former Lagdera MP Farah Maalim who recently landed a job on Ebru TV channel will start work next week on Tuesday.
In the first episode of the ‘Speakers Gallery’, Maalim is expected to host Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula.
In a ‘promo’ by Ebru TV, Maalim will be hosting the ‘Speakers Gallery’ show every Tuesday at 7.30 pm.
The TV show will focus on governance and constitutional issues.
It will also discuss current political issues at the national and county government level.
Political analyst Peter Ngure says that Maalim’s TV job could catapult him back to political limelight.
He notes that the former National Assembly Deputy Speaker’s chances of making it back to political fame are high.
Maalim has remained in the political 'cold' after unsuccessfully contesting for the Garissa senate seat in 2013 general election.
In the 2017 general election, Maalim unsuccessfully contested for the Garissa parliamentary seat losing out to his fierce rival Aden Duale.
