Kisumu Governor Anyang' Nyong'o was on Saturday commended by two Members of Parliament for the "wonderful job" he is doing in the county.
The two; Nyando legislator Jared Okelo and his Mathare counterpart Antony Oluoch noted that the Governor had done a good job in the county especially in matters development and sanitation.
The lawmakers made the remarks when they paid a courtesy call at Nyong'o's office.
After the meeting, Governor Nyong'o and a section of leaders from the region joined Dennis Onyango, the Communication Director; Raila Secretariat, in his home Church Oganga SDA, Nyatike Sub County for a fundraiser in which the Prof was the Chief Guest.
Speaking at the event, Governor Nyong'o urged the Luo community to remain united and resist the politics for Luo division that have recently been witnessed in Migori County as he reiterated on the need of Kenyans supporting both the handshake and devolution.
