The vehicle was a grey Toyota Fielder bearing the number plate KCL 481K .

It was intercepted on 16, September 2018 in Migori while being driven by Jackson Otieno Gombe.

In Migori Town, it operates as a taxi and is registered under the name of Olivia Oloo Odhiambo who is an employee of Migori County and is married to Caspal Ojwang Obiero who also works for the county.

The car will play an important role as the DPP seeks to mount a case against the Migori supremo that can lead to a conviction.

Haji has expressed confidence during press conferences and interviews that he has compelling evidence that will lead to Obado's conviction.
