A study by the Endocrine Society, published in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, explained that seafood is an unexplored medical resource.
The researchers stated that your libido is greatly boosted if you have at least two servings of seafood weekly. They also said the time to pregnancy is significantly shortened.
“Our study suggests that seafood can have several reproductive benefits, including shorter time to pregnancy and more frequent sexual activity,” said one of the study’s authors, Audrey Gaskins.
The researches advised that the diet has to be strictly consumed by both partners. They downplayed the notion that it is the responsibility of the woman to consume seafood for a shorter pregnancy wait period.
“Our results stress the importance of not only female, but also the male diet at the time, and suggest that both partners should incorporate more seafood in their diet for maximum fertility benefit,” she advised.
