Renowned comedian and MC Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o has touted the prospect of a Matiang'i presidency.
Speaking on Milele FM on Monday, Mr Jalang'o said that Kenya needed benign dictator who would help steer the country's development agenda.
Jalang'o argued that the Interior and Coordination of National Government Cabinet Secretary Dr Fred Matiang'i toughness was what the country needed.
"Matiang'i talks tough and delivers tough. I wouldn't mind a Matiang'i presidency. I wouldn't mind kama itakuwa ya kazi," Jalang'o said.
Dr Matiang'i has over the years as a cabinet secretary in various ministries curved for himself a reputation as a tough-talking no-nonsense CS.
He was nominated by President Uhuru Kenyatta for the Interior and Coordination of National Government position this year after a stint in the education ministry.
His tough demeanour has seen many talk about the prospect of a Matiang'i presidency.
Dr Matiang'i has never publicly spoken about intentions to run for the presidency in future.
In spite of coming under fire from deputy president Dr William Ruto's allies over the good scandal, the Interior and Coordination of National Government Cabinet Secretary continues to enjoy the confidence of President Uhuru Kenyatta.
He is among CSs who survived Uhuru's cabinet reshuffles and is seen as a hard worker.
