According to former Nyamira Gubernatorial aspirant Dr Evans Nyatigo, Nyagarama should just follow the law and ensure that he clarifies on how the County spent the money allocated for various projects.

Speaking while meeting a number of youths at his home in Nyamira on Monday, Dr Nyatigo accused the CoG Chair Wycliffe Oparanya of misleading the County heads

“If Governor Nyagarama believes that he has managed the County funds well, he should ensure that he faces the senate committee once summoned and clarify any of the auditor’s report instead of listening to misleading voices such as for Oparanya," he said.

His sentiments comes at a time the Senate through PAC chairman Moses Kajwang' warned governors against skipping summons over the 2017-2018 financial year audit queries.

Among the counties that are being investigated include Kakamega, Kwale, Lamu, Nyamira and Samburu.
