Tuesday meeting between NASA leader Raila Odinga and Former Nairobi governor aspirant Peter Kenneth has caused mixed reactions among Gusii leaders.
Borabu MP Ben Momanyi claimed that the meeting is a plan to finish DP William Ruto in 2022.
"Raila-Kenneth meeting a 2022 game plan targeting DP Ruto. Kenyans should not be cheated that the two leaders met to discuss the challenges the country is facing. It is a political well organized to finish DP Ruto in 2022," he said in his constituency on Tuesday.
Former South Mugirango MP Omingo Magara while addressing the press in Kisii town said 'this is not a time leaders should be holding closed door meetings while Kenyans are struggling with poverty in villages'.
"Raila should be ashamed holding meetings with leaders in his office yet fuel prices have been hiked. Leaders should put the interests of people first and their meetings to come second," he said.
Magara faulted a section of MPs for pretending to be feeling the same pain over fuel prices with poor Kenyans.
Kisii County youth Jubilee leader Isaac Motari said the meeting between Raila and Kenneth will not work stopping Ruto from becoming president in 2022.
