Singer Vivian is no doubt the top rising musician in the country. Like other celebs, she has her own previous struggles before making it to fame.
On Tuesday she shared her past story on Instagram including what she used to earn. This revelation has left many people amused.
The singer revealed that she earned Sh6, 000 monthly salary. Coming to Nairobi was one of the hardest things in her life, thus she had to do anything to live. The city’s famous saying, “maisha ya Nairobi ni ngumu” didn’t hinder her.
“Five years ago, I earned 6,000 and I was the happiest girl in the world. God’s strength is sufficient,” she wrote on her Instagram wall.
The mother of one used to work as a mali mali trader before getting this rare employment to earn 6k. Surprisingly, her employment was only guaranteed for 6 months.
