A video of Deputy President William Ruto while appearing angered by something has surfaced.
The video shows the DP gesturing ‘angrily’ and it is not clear what irked him.
Ruto was at the Faith Evangelistic Ministry (FEM) church in Karen, Nairobi where President Uhuru Kenyatta was to join him.
In the video, the DP and his wife Rachael Ruto are seen being received by FEM founder Evangelist Teresia Wairimu before Ruto is captured gesturing angrily.
President Uhuru Kenyatta joined the DP at the church where he gave a tough stand on the fight against graft.
“I have lost close friends over the war on corruption. We must be ready to lose friends and do what is right in the eyes of God,” said President Kenyatta.
Kenyatta also said the government was not demolishing buildings in Nairobi for the sake of it.
“We must fight impunity not because we want to destroy for the sake of it. If we do not fight impunity, we will not achieve our goals. For the country to succeed we must fight corruption and impunity,” he said.
