ODM chairman John Mbadi was reportedly kicked out of Capitol Hill by party leader Raila Odinga, a source has claimed.
Last week, Mbadi is said to have approached Raila will a proposal of kicking out Secretary General Edwin Sifuna after a disagreement but his tactic could not bear fruits.
"He came here claiming that Sifuna is a mole out to misuse party's resources. He pleaded with Ting'a (Raila) to kick him out.
"Even after attending him, Raila politely asked him to leave. He also asked him to forget about sacking Sifuna from the party leadership," said the source who spoke in conference.
Quiet wrabgkes between Mbadi and Sifuna are said to be ruining the party's operations with the attempted change of Nairobi assembly leadership being the major contestation between the two.
While Sifuna supports the status quo which Raila has apparently endorsed, Mbadi is keen to have current Minority Leader and Chief Whip dropped.
"As of those wrangles, I don't know any. Maybe those peddling the claims should come out and educate us," party treasurer Timothy Bosire said when reached on phone.
On his Twitter account last week, Sifuna dismissed a local paper which reported the fallout, accusing it of being paid to spread propaganda.
