Former Kilome MP Regina Ndambuki has said she had foreseen her loss in 2017 parliamentary race.
Ndambuki said she was not surprised by her loss in the polls since she knew that Jubilee party was not popular in Makueni County.
"I knew that I wouldn't recapture my seat on a Jubilee party ticket but I didn't mind at all. I was aware of how selling Jubilee in Makueni was an uphill task and I was ready for the outcome," Ndambuki said.
She said her allegiance to the Jubilee government brought 'goodies' to her people who reaped big.
"My people benefited from the Last Mile Electricity Connectivity programme, boreholes and tarmacking of various roads among other things," she said.
Ndambuki spoke at Tawa in Makueni County on Thursday.
She, however, vehemently denied campaigning against Wiper leader Kalonzo Musyoka in the last general elections.
"I never campaigned against Kalonzo at all in the last elections," Ndambuki said.
The National Government Affirmative Action Fund chairperson flanked Makueni Woman Representative Rose Museo at a public function.
Ndambuki promised to use her current position to serve Kenyans as much as she can.
She distributed water tanks to various women groups in the county.
