Despite going on air since 2016 at Egesa FM, Mr. Joseph Mochere was after all not an employee of Royal Media Services, it has now emerged.
Precipitated by his single-room criticism on social media despite his popularity, Egesa FM has clarified that the slain comedian was still a casual.
"We want to clarify that Mochere was not an employee of Royal Media Services.
"He was an artist and Egesa had identified his talent and gave him platform to showcase it. He had proved it and was just about to be employed," said one of the colleague on air.
Popularly known as Okebiro O'Mose through his comedy, the popular presenter hanged himself on Saturday.
His wife Teresa Moraa, told the standard that he had threatened to kill four others a day before the committing suicide.
"He had a knife and threatened to kill everyone in the house including myself," she stated.
And after scampering for safety at their rural home, back at Nairobi, Mochere hanged himself leaving behind a suicide note that directly blames his wife for marriage downfalls.
