Spouses who cheat on their partners will often find reasons to justify themselves.
Most women will give in to prowling men with a potential to bankroll their lives or pay necessary bills in their marriages, according to Eunice Nyakundi (not her real name), a waitress in a Kisii town hotel.
A brazen-faced Eunice could also, in an exclusive interview say: "My husband runs a grocery but I can grab any promising opportunity. I am dating a Boda boda rider and one of my children is his. He helps with paying some bills and my husband is unsuspecting of the affair."
Some of the married women date other men to end their bedroom worries.
"When I can longer extend my dry spells in the absence of my husband who works far from home, I can date any man.
"Despite all that, my husband never matches my libido which bothers me a lot. So I have to engage any man who can satiate my feelings," said another woman who sought anonymity.
Those who are so daring stray with other men as revenge for their husband's infidelity.
According to a nurse in a local hospital, who spoke in confidence because of the sensitivity of the issue, she is in courtship with a certain man in a bid to get pregnant.
She claims they reached a consensus as a couple after her husband's healthy problem dimmed his hopes of ever making a woman pregnant.
