On Wednesday, August 22nd, 2018, Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua turned one year older.
Mutua is no doubt among the most hardworking governors across all the 47 counties in the country.
Most Kenyans online sent him birthday messages.
His wife, Lilian Ng’ang’a was not left out.
She took to social media to wish her beloved husband a great birthday.

However, this was not all for the Machakos first lady, as she had prepared a surprise treat for her husband to celebrate his birthday.
Governor Mutua's lovely and stylish wife had organized a one day vacation for just the two of them, which came as a shocker to him.
The clueless Mutua got surprised after realizing that his wife, Lilian had organized an afternoon trip to the wilderness, where they enjoyed dinner, a cool breeze and some romantic music from wild animals.
The two love birds were pictured in matching denim outfit.
According to Governor Mutua, this was the best ever birthday gift from someone who loves you so much.
He thanked his wife for picking such a great destination to celebrate his birthday.
