Embakasi East MP Babu Owino does not want corruption money that the government will recover abroad sent back to Kenya.
Babu in a tweet on Tuesday said such money if sent back into the country will be stolen again and Kenyans would not in anyway benefit.
He said the money should be sent directly to China to service the debts that Kenya owes the Asian country.
"The frozen Kenya's money in Switzerland should be channeled directly to China as part of our debt repayment. If that money is sent back to Kenya it will vanish like wind," the outspoken lawmaker said.
On Monday President Uhuru Kenyatta and his Switzerland counterpart, Alain Berset signed an agreement in which the European nation will send back all Kenya's stolen money back to Kenya.
According to the Swiss government, there are billions of shillings stolen in Kenya being kept in various banks in Switzerland and the country is determined to return the money to Kenya.
"This agreement will ensure that illegally acquired wealth held outside the country is repatriated to benefit the Kenyan people," Uhuru said at State House on Monday as quoted by Daily Nation.
He said his administration will not tolerate corruption anymore. Kenya presently owes China Sh534 billion in debt.
