Tanzanian singer Diamond has opened up on the state of co-parenting between him and his two exes; Hamisa Mobeto and Zari Hassan.
Speaking during a press conference on Tuesday, the Tanzanian star revealed that it was hard co-parenting with Zari Hassan. Hamisa Mobetto, on the other hand, was applauded by the ‘Kanyaga’ hitmaker for being understanding.
Diamond also denied neglecting his children.
“I ensure my children get whatever I can afford. That is why you will never hear any problem with my Tanzanian child. Although there were disagreements between the mother and I she is still very understanding (Watoto wangu kwanza mimi nahakikisha kilichokwenda na uwezo wangu naki provide. Ndio maana mtoto wangu wa Kitanzania huweziskia kuna shida, japo mamake tushakuaga na matatizo lakini mama yake yuko very understanding sana),” Diamond stated.
According to the Tanzanian star who is currently dating a Kenyan lady, Hamisa had moved on from the break up but Zari had not.
“The one from Tanzania saw; ‘I have accepted I’m no longer together with Diamond, therefore what is remaining is that we will have to co-parent’. But I think the other is still sees it is not possible, why are we not ogether? (Yule wa Tanzania aliona ‘eh bana mimi na Diamond sasa hivi nimekubali hatuko wote, kwa hivyo kilichobaki tutalea mtoto hivyo’. Ila kidogo wa kule nafikiri bado anaona kwamba haiwezekani, kwa nini hatuko wote?),” Diamond explained.
Diamond and Zari broke up in 2018 amid cheating allegations. He is currently dating a Kenyan radio presenter cum musician Tanasha Donna. Diamond's relationship with Tanasha Donna has definitely earned him more Kenyan fans.
