Kisii County Governor James Ongwae has been condemned following a humiliating incident where a local musician was frogmarched in public.
The local artiste, TamTam was on Monday manhandled by the governor's security detail in the presence of the county boss after he tried to have a chat with him (Ongwae) at Tabaka in South Mugirango.
Kisii County Jubilee Party youth secretary-general Isaac Motari has since slammed the county boss terming him a disgrace.
"How can Ongwae allow his illiterate security team harass TamTam in public after being entertained? The so called county boss never values talents," he stated.
Motari reiterated that he will never support Ongwae's rogue leadership.
"I will never support Ongwae because he allows his security team to harass youths working hard to make a living out of their talents. TamTam, despite the humiliation, we still stand with him," he added.
Another angry resident Ken Ombati termed Ongwae a corrupt governor who has failed to empower youths.
"Ongwae's security team must be changed failure to which as youths we will hold demos in solidarity with TamTam's humiliation," he said.
