Corruption has rocked the country recently from one ministry to another and the money being lost on has been huge.
Renowned political analyst Prof Herman Manyora through his YouTube channel gave an analysis of how Kenyans perceive the three top leaders in the country in regards to corruption.
According to the analyst, Kenyans generally agree that President Uhuru Kenyatta has not stolen any public money as a person.
He further notes that it is generally accepted that the president inherited a lot of wealth from his father, the first President of Kenya.
As for former Prime Minister Raila Odinga, the analyst noted that he (Raila) has told Kenyans he is as white as cotton.
Prof Manyora opined that in as much as that may not be entirely true, the general perception is the country is that the ODM party leader is not corrupt.
"The general perception is that when you are looking for a corrupt person, you are unlikely to look for Raila in Bondo or Capitol Hill. That he is among the few politicians in this country you can not very easily associate with corruption," the analyst said.
The analyst said few people have tried to associate Raila with corruption scandals such as molasses, 'kazi kwa vijana pesa kwa wazee' among others which failed to make him perceived corrupt by Kenyans.
However, for Deputy President William Ruto, the analyst noted that Kenyans perceive him as a corrupt leader.
"The way things have been presented in this country, the narrative that has been sold especially after the handshake is that if you are looking for a thief in this country, you will go to Sugoi (Ruto's home)," the analyst said.
So, according to Professor Manyora, the perception around the country now is that DP Ruto is corrupt, while Kenyatta, and Odinga are not perceived as being corrupt.
