Few days after State House denied knowledge on planned cabinet reshuffle, ODM leader Raila Odinga has waded into the debate.

On Monday, spokesperson Kanze Dena dismissed reshuffling rumours adding that she was not aware of the plans.

"I ma hearing it for the first time from you (media). I will be happy if I get more details. I am not aware of such plans," she had said.

During his two weeks stay in Mombasa, President Uhuru Kenyatta is said to have held closed-door meeting with Raila where reshuffles were reportedly discussed.

But at Orange House, Raila also dismissed the reports adding that he was not aware of the plans if any by the president.

"I have just heard reports that there is cabinet reshuffle being planned after the handshake and that I am hosting Uhuru in Nyanza.

"I don't know where the media is getting these stories from because there is nothing like that," he said.

Earlier, the media had reported of planned tour to Nyanza by the president and Raila which would have commenced on Thursday.

Sports Cabinet Secretary Rashid Achesa accused Raila of plotting his exit from cabinet, insisting that he is the chief target.
