According to Prof Ngunyi, the only person right now standing with the President is Raila and that should be leave, then Uhuru may fail.

"The only person standing with Uhuru now is Raila and that is scary in my view. If Raila abandons Uhuru, there will be no Uhuru Kenyatta and this is because the handshake is the revolution," opined Prof Mutahi Ngunyi in a video of his YouTube channel.

The analyst expounded on this by saying Odinga has used the handshake to isolate Uhuru especially from Ruto and the Kalenjin nation in addition to diving the Mt Kenya region.

This makes both the regions not in full support to the president and Raila is left as the only option.

"Very cleverly, Raila has used the handshake to isolate Uhuru. Uhuru is Isolated from Ruto and from the Kalenjin nation and as a fact the Kikuyu's are unhappy and grampy," Prof Ngungi said.

"If Uhuru is attacked today, they (people from Rift valley) would not defend him, they would only defend him reluctantly. What is more, the Kikuyu's have been divided into two derogatory groups, Kieleweke and TangaTanga," he added.
