Having tasted defeat in the first week of the KWPL at Mumias Complex last weekend, the Falcons failed to take advantage of their home ground, the University of Eldoret pavilion and went down 4-1.

It was sweet revenge for the Kisumu Starlets who last season lost both home and away games to the Eldoret-based ladies team.

The visiting team was ruthless to their hosts and scored three goals in the first half, forcing some of the fans to walk away.

Earlier, the game was delayed for about 30 minutes after the visitors protested over lack of an ambulance at the stadium as stipulated in the Football Kenya Federation (FKF) laws.

The Falcons who finished in a promising 4th position last season seems to have started this season on the back foot despite having several players that are in the national team, the Harambe Starlets.

Vihiga Queens are the next team that the Falcons will be hosting this weekend at the University of Eldoret pavilion.
