Vocal lawyer Ahmednassir Abdullahi has sent out a sarcastic tweet hitting out at President Uhuru Kenyatta.
Commenting on the recent elections for the Law Society of Kenya (LSK) election, where Njeru Macharia beat Prof Tom Ojienda to represent lawyers in the Judicial Service Commission, Ahmednassir said President Uhuru Kenyatta’s quick gazettement of Macharia was a bias.
The lawyer, also known as Grandmullah, said it took months for the head of state to gazette Justice Warsame while that of Macharia’s took a day.
“It took H.E UHURU a day to Gazette Macharia's election to the JSC. It took a court order and 9 months for Justice Mohamed Warsame to be appointed to the JSC...Kenya is an animal farm where the PIG from central Kenya is superior to the CAMEL from NFD…” the lawyer said.
Macharia won the LSK election after garnering 2,738 votes against his closest opponent, Tom Ojienda who bagged 2,545.
Grandmullah’s assertion is likely to spark a debate on whether is a superior tribe in the country.
Already the controversial tweet has gained traction with netizens sharing it across the social platforms.
