Feeling moody and not set for a day is normal. Most of us have experienced this in our day to day lives.
Moodlessness entails a shift of emotions which result in irritation, frustration or anger. This can be due to stress, anxiety or discouragement.
However, feeling moody and low is often triggered by several things as listed below:
1. Lack of enough sleep
Inadequate sleep makes the body's systems impaired. People who have less than four hours of sleep each day are prone to anger and sadness compared to those who had at least eight hours a day.
When you skip meals or have long intervals before taking meals, your blood sugar level decreases making you easily irritable.
3. Extended exercise
Over-exercising results in emotional change and fatigue. Always have a timed exercise to allow time for recovery. This is because it drains all the energy in the body resulting in reduced energy in body tissues which eventually makes one emotional.
4. Consuming too much sugar
Taking too much sugar can affect your mood. This is because sugar leads to oxidative stress leading to damaging of the body cells. Sugary foods also lead to drastic changes in the body leading to change in moods.
