Churchill Show recording at the Ronga’s Hornbill Club was disturbed after Kajiado County Senator, Phillip Ole Mpayei, was thrown out for alleged misconduct.
The Diaspora Edition recording on Saturday was interrupted after the VIP misbehaved and was fished out of the venue alongside his security.
According to reports, Mpayei arrived at the event while drunk. He disturbed comedy lovers on the VIP dais prompting the dishonorable eviction.
The video shows the host security team struggling with three men who included the senator, almost turning into a fistfight.
There is also a woman pleading with the bouncers to let the three leave peacefully without causing excessive commotion.
The incident shocked many who were present and it attracted serious criticism from the online community. Kenyans have demanded an apology from the senator.
He is a member of the Senate committee on roads and transport as well as the chair of the Senate Committee on National Cohesion, Equal Opportunity, and Regional Integration.
The recording is part of the One Laugh Tour that will grace Kisii and Narok in the upcoming events.
