A 40-year-old removed her pant, covered a local chief's face before landing on him with kicks and blows.
The bizarre incident happened on Monday at Rionche village, Nyaisa, Morako in Manga Sub County.
Witnesses said the chief, Bernard Ondoro along with Nyumba Kumi officials raided the woman’s home over illicit brew business claims.
“Moraa got angered after the chief ordered Nyumba Kumi officials to search her house over illicit brew.
"She removed her pant, chased after the chief, covered his face and beat the chief while cursing him and his family,” said Arnold Rioba.
Rioba said it took the intervention of Nyumba Kumi officials to stop the woman from beating the chief.
Ondoro, after he was rescued, condemned the woman saying war on illicit brew will not stop anytime soon.
“I could not fight back the woman because we are not allowed to do that. No curse will work on me because I am doing my job," he said.
The administrator warned locals against engaging in illicit trade saying the law will not bend for them.
During the Monday crackdown, over 300 liters of illicit brews was destroyed.
