Garissa Township Member of Parliament and House Majority Leader Duale is not a man to mince his words, he shoots from the hip.
Those who dare engage him in a duel end up getting more than they bargained for.
Former Cabinet Secretary and now Kirinyaga Governor Ann Waiguru learned this all too well at the height of the National Youth Service (NYS) scandal in which over seven hundred million shillings was dubiously lost.
Duale left reporters in stitches when he said that Waiguru had a psychiatric condition that led her to look for human shields and vowed to come down on her like a ton of bricks.
"I will go on a sabbatical leave from CORD, from the Kericho by-election and from the Malindi by-election and I am ready to deal with one woman who stole millions of shillings and now has a psychiatric condition, looking for anyone on sight as a human shield..." Duale seethed.
Media reports had indicated at the time that Waiguru had alleged that Duale and Murkomen had tried to interfere with investigations.
