Senior Counsel Ahmednasir Abdullahi might be stripped off the title by the Law Society of Kenya.
This is after a non-governmental organization petitioned LSK to remove Abdullahi from its list of senior counsels due to his Twitter 'outbursts'.
The Centre for Africa Volunteers Society, in a letter, said Mr Abdullahi has been “intimidating” judges by his posts.
According to CEO, Josephat Ochieng, the lawyer conducts does not march his status.
“By observation of some of the posts by Mr Abdullahi against the judiciary and judicial officials, his conduct falls short of the honour he deserves,” said Mr Ochieng.
Over the recent past, the lawyer has been attacking Chief Justice David Maraga.
In February, Mr Abdullahi took to Twitter to criticise the Supreme Court’s decision on a case of two Iranians being tried for allegedly planning a terror attack
