Former Deputy Chief Justice Nancy Baraza has said that she is sympathizing with President Uhuru Kenyatta because he is surrounded by looters.
Speaking during an exclusive interview on KTN News’ Point Blank last night, Baraza said that Uhuru has not achieved much since he was re-elected because the people around him loot everything they come across.
She noted that increased cases of runaway graft have affected the economy of this nation in different ways. Baraza appealed to different arms of the government to accord the President, who is completing his second and final term in government, support to fight the vice.
“We have had corruption before but not in this magnitude. I sympathise with the President because he has a monster in the name of corruption,” she said.
She also called upon President Uhuru to provide more resources to the agencies tasked to fight graft. She further alluded that Uhuru is a frustrated President because he is unable to deal with the endless cases of graft in his government.
In reference to her dismal following a standoff with a lady at Village Market, she termed the incident as unfortunate and claimed that she lost the job because of witch hunt.
Baraza further urged women to join politics to transform this nation.
