A Jubilee Party allied politician has broken his silence over the much-awaited tour to Nyamira by Deputy President William Ruto's on Friday.
Isaac Motari who doubles up as the Kisii County Jubilee Party youth Secretary-General said DP Ruto should not be tired of visiting the vote-rich Gusii region.
"On behalf of Jubilee Party youths from Gusii region, I want to welcome DP Ruto to Gusii region more particularly in Nyamira where he is expected to grace various events. Those opposed to DP Ruto's visit on Friday should choose to remain indoors," he said.
The vocal politician challenged locals in the areas to turn up in large numbers to welcome him.
He argued that DP Ruto has been helping churches to improve infrastructure across the country, therefore, it will not be a crime for him to attend the funds drive in Nyamira.
"Mr Ruto has been donating generously to churches. The Friday funds drive he is expected to preside over, should not be politicised because people should worship in a conducive environment," he stated.
Motari confirmed that he will be attending all DP Ruto's functions on Friday.
